This year we had a couple snow days...the first one didn't account for much. The kids would reach down and instead of picking up snow they would pick up mud! Yuck! The second one was a good amount and we made sure to get out and play in it before it all melted. Here in Tennessee you have to be quick or else you miss the snow, by afternoon its usually gone. Our third snow day was in March and we didn't get the chance to play in it, because it was the weekend we went to Gatlinburg.
When we do get to play in the snow, the boys like to try and make snow angels or throw snowballs. They always want to make a snowman, but their attention span doesn't usually last long enough to actually make one. Tapanga is just getting use to the snow, she is still at that point where its more of a fascination to her than something fun to play in. I am sure next year it will be different.

We don't get many snow days in Tennessee, so even though I don't necessarily like having to get the kids bundled up and I don't really care for how cold it is, I do have to make a point of letting the kids enjoy the snow when it does come.
good snow pics:)
