Fathers Day in San Antonio

After spending the day at the zoo, no one really felt like cooking so the question became, "What are we going to do for dinner?" After all, it was Fathers Day so...? Right down the road from us was a Hananoki type restaurant and mom made the decision to go!

Ken and Christy had never been to one of these restaurants so it was a treat for them. I didn't think it was as good as Hananoki, but I am spoiled after all!
The dinner was basically the same, but this chef did some things differently. For instance, they put everything on the grill at the same time and one of the last things you get is the rice. (I prefer the rice at the beginning because I like to eat it with my meat.) Our chef here was incredibly funny, he really made a point of including everyone in the experience!
Notice Maleah's chopsticks...this place at these nifty kids things that make the chopsticks easier to use!For birthdays, they do a whole big show with drums and everything!
